General terms and conditions

At Luffas, we employ clear and transparent terms and conditions that apply to all our services. These contain information about our working methods, responsibilities, and your rights as a client. Our terms and conditions comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Article 1 – Definitions

In these general terms and conditions the following terms are understood to mean:

• Entrepreneur : Luffas.nl

• Consumer : the natural person who does not act in the exercise of a profession or business.

• Product : Sakura exfoliating shower towels.

• Agreement : the purchase agreement concluded via the webshop.

• Webshop : the online store of an entrepreneur.

Article 2 – Applicability

1. These general terms and conditions apply to every offer and every distance contract between entrepreneur and consumer.

2. By placing an order, the consumer agrees to these conditions.

Article 3 – The offer

1. The products are described as completely and accurately as possible.

2. Images are for illustrative purposes only and may vary slightly from actual product.

3. Obvious errors or mistakes in the offer do not bind the entrepreneur.

Article 4 – The Agreement

1. The agreement is concluded when the consumer completes the order and has made payment.

2. After ordering, the consumer will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

Article 5 – Prices

1. All prices are stated in euros and include VAT.

2. Any shipping costs will be clearly stated before completing the order.

3. The entrepreneur reserves the right to change prices.

Article 6 – Payment

1. Payment is made via the offered payment methods.

2. The entrepreneur is entitled to refuse an order if payment has not been received.

Article 7 – Delivery

1. Orders will be delivered as soon as possible, at the latest within 30 days.

2. Delivery takes place in the Netherlands and Belgium.

3. If delivery is delayed, the consumer will be informed in a timely manner.

4. The risk of damage or loss lies with the entrepreneur until the moment of delivery.

Article 8 – Right of withdrawal

1. The consumer has the right to cancel the agreement within 14 days after receipt, unless the product is excluded under Article 9 .

2. The withdrawal period commences on the day after receipt of the product.

Article 9 – Exclusion of the right of withdrawal (hygienic product)

1. The right of withdrawal is excluded for hygiene products whose seal or packaging has been opened .

2. The Sakura exfoliating shower towel is considered a hygienic product.

3. If the packaging has been opened or the product has been used, the product cannot be returned.

Article 10 – Returns and refunds

1. Returns must be registered within 14 days of cancellation.

2. The product must be returned unused, undamaged and in its original, unopened packaging.

3. After correct receipt, the purchase amount will be refunded within 14 days.

4. Return costs are the responsibility of the consumer, unless otherwise stated.

Article 11 – Use and liability

1. The Sakura exfoliating shower towel should be used according to the instructions.

2. The entrepreneur is not liable for damage caused by incorrect or improper use.

3. In all cases, liability is limited to the amount of the order.

Article 12 – Warranty and conformity

1. The entrepreneur guarantees that the product complies with the agreement and reasonable expectations.

2. Complaints about defects must be reported within a reasonable period after discovery.

Article 13 – Complaints procedure

1. Complaints can be submitted via info@luffas.nl.

2. The entrepreneur will respond substantively within 14 days.

Article 14 – Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure, the entrepreneur is entitled to suspend obligations or terminate the agreement.

Article 15 – Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights relating to the webshop, texts, images and products belong to the entrepreneur.

Article 16 – Applicable law

Dutch law applies to all agreements.

Article 17 – Disputes

Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise for Belgian consumers.

Disclaimer – Skin use

The Sakura exfoliating shower towels are intended for external use on the skin and should be used according to the instructions provided.

While our products are suitable for daily use, skin reactions can vary from person to person. Therefore, we recommend:

• First test the product carefully on a small area of ​​skin;

• Do not apply excessive pressure during use;

• Discontinue use if irritation, redness or discomfort occurs;

• Do not use the product on damaged, irritated or inflamed skin.

The Sakura exfoliating shower towels are not a medical device and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any skin condition.

The entrepreneur is not liable for skin reactions or damage resulting from:

• Incorrect or improper use;

• Excessive exfoliation;

• Do not use in combination with other skin products that cause a reaction.

In case of doubt, sensitive skin or existing skin conditions, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist or doctor beforehand.
